I often get asked what is my typical client we target and the answer is we don't really have a typical client, all our clients are different. We deal with people who work in the mining industry, country Queensland to inner city lawyers to the self-employed. We help a widespread of people, especially around the first home buyer who is just starting out and doesn't know the first steps of buying a property to the sophisticated investor who have done this many times. The type of person I'd like to help is those probably starting from scratch. There's a lot of enjoyment when you see someone who has an idea and you put that idea into a plan and the action and eventually they become homeowners.

I believe the key item that sets myself apart from other mortgage brokers is the approach of the transaction with the client. Not being a transaction is a relationship that continues well beyond the purchase of the property or the settlement of the loan. Buying a property is the biggest purchase most people will make in their lifetime. And not leaving my client to the whims of a bank or an institution, but having that relationship ongoing is the key difference from what I offer compared to most other mortgage brokers. We normally review clients every 12 months from the settlement of the loan all the way through to the 30-year term or the 10-year term of the loan itself.
