Custom Mortgages: The Power of Listening to Client Needs

How I help clients reach their goals starts from really the beginning of the meeting process. And the first thing that I do is listen. Everyone's got a story, everyone's got their own objectives and own particular circumstances.

I think the key ingredient being an effective mortgage broker is actually taking the time to listen to what your client wants to achieve without any judgements or preconditions about what you think is good for them.

You find that with experience, everyone wants to tell the story and you've got to make it an environment where it's easy for them to tell their story. And from that, you've got the information and the tools to then actually help them to reach their goals.

Open Conversations: My Commitment to Your Personalised Mortgage Journey

I think what sets myself aside from other mortgage brokers is not being judgmental, keeping the conversation and the interview process and the whole mortgage process as open and transparent as possible.

Not being judgmental on people's particular circumstances allows my clients to be able to communicate freely and it also then allows me to be able to break down a solution that is tailored to their particular needs.
